Letter to Parents Concerning COVID 19
Dear Parents,
We are writing to provide an update on our efforts to keep our school campus healthy and safe while
preparing for the possibility of ongoing impacts due to Coronavirus (COVID 19).
Our school continues to take the proper precautions to educate faculty and staff on how to prevent the
spread of viruses in schools, monitoring student, faculty and staff health and ensuring that all
procedures to isolate or send individuals home who demonstrate flu or cold like symptoms.
We have been conducting thorough cleanings of the school facility – which has been being fully
sanitized and will receive daily disinfectant cleanings as well as ensuring custodian crews sanitize
frequently touched surfaces, such as bathrooms, water coolers, desks, countertops, doorknobs,
computer keyboard, hands on learning items, and faucet handles. In addition, we continue to consult
with and follow guidance from our local and state health agencies to guide our decision making.
As always, our primary priority is the safety and well-being of our scholars and their families and we
appreciate your cooperation and assistance. We will continue to diligently monitor the situation and
communicate with families in a timely manner. Please feel free to reach out to our office (225) 239-7506.
